This 2-hour discovery tour takes place in the historic vineyard of the Grand Cru village of Aÿ-Champagne.
With our private guide you will have the opportunity to discover this exceptional Terroir.

In these historical hillsides of Champagne listed as a World Heritage Site by UNESCO, we will explain vineyard management, sustainable viticulture, the history of the region, the Champagne making process and its secrets. You will certainly meet winegrowers and famous Champagne houses at work on their land.

We will also pause in front of the stunning properties and vineyards of the famous Champagne Houses of Aÿ Cgampagne that are Bollinger, Deutz, and Ayala.

Then, you will taste the 3 essential Champagne alcohols and aperitifs : Ratafia, Fine de la Marne and Marc de Champagne the 3 essential Champagne alcohols and aperitifs : Ratafia, Fine de la Marne and Marc de Champagne from the Goyard Distillery which is the oldest in Champagne is also planned.

Your guide will also give you recommendations of the best places to visit Champagne Houses and independent grower to discover.

  We spent an absolutely brilliant day with Emma touring the vineyards and family champagne houses, easily the best way to explore this area.  Emma was knowledgeable, super friendly, patient (we asked a lot of questions!) and explained the champagne making process and history of the region perfectly.  We visited a couple of small family houses for tastings which was a great contrast to the other visits we made to the big houses.    Highly highly recommended.

  We had an amazing day with Nina touring vineyards, unique local Champagne houses and going to a great bistro for lunch.  Nina is a very knowledgeable and fun tour guide who created an interesting itinerary for us.  We had booked and rebooked this tour throughout Covid and Isabelle was always accommodating and friendly.   We had an amazing day tour of the vineyards and small cellars of Champagne! Our tour guide, Nina, was absolutely amazing because she speaks perfect English AND she has a winemaking background - so she was able to answer all our MILLION questions!
